Air Controller father let’s his children direct flights!!!
JFK air traffic controller, Glenn Duffy, and his supervisor were placed on administrative leave after reports surfaced that Glenn allowed his two children to direct instructions to pilots.
There appear to be five instances in February where this dad of the year allowed his children to send radio instructions to pilots landing at JFK. Some of the pilots even seemed to enjoy the children’s directives as one JetBlue Pilot responded to the little girl, “Departure JetBlue 3-8, nicely done,” “See you later.”
WTF just about sums it up!
