Wonder where Fergie was off to this time? Maybe she was visiting husband Josh Duhamel on set somewhere. Anyway, she was spotted arriving at LAX last night.

Scarlett Johansson definitely looks like she is enjoying her beach vacation in Hawaii!  The actress was spotted rocking a cute blue bikini while strolling with a friend.

Scarlett is also vacationing with boyfriend Nate Naylor who made sure that Scarlett didn’t get a sunburn by applying some suntan lotion to her back.

Looks like the perfect way to spend a vacation.  Scarlett should enjoy this down time while she can because once her new movie The Avengers hits theatres I have a feeling she’ll be very busy with promotional tours and photo shoots!

Maggie Gyllenhaal took a break from filming her new movie with Ewan McGregor to hang out with her family.  Maggie, her husband Peter Sarsgaard walked their daughter Ramona to school this morning in Brooklyn.

I bet Ramona is excited about being a big sister in a few months!  Peter recently said that they know what their baby’s gender is, but they aren’t sharing the news with anyone.  And they’re still working on those baby names.  I have a feeling it will be unique but not too “out there”.

Get used to seeing Josh Hutcherson: we saw plenty of him while promoting his new film ‘Journey 2: The Mysterious Island.’ I hope you like seeing him: I’m sure we’ll be seeing a lot more of him as the release date for ‘The Hunger Games’ draws closer (next month- WOOT! WOOT!).

I, for one, cannot WAIT to see it.

Madonna shared her feelings on the whole M.I.A. flippin’ the bird stunt during her Super Bowl halftime show performance on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show this morning.  Madonna says that the whole thing was a bit immature:

“I was really surprised. I didn’t know anything about it. I wasn’t happy about it.”

“I understand it’s punk rock and everything, but to me there was such a feeling of love and good energy, and positivity, it seemed negative. It’s such a teenager … irrelevant thing to do … there was such a feeling of love and unity there. What was the point? It was just out of place.”

I have to say I agree with Madonna.  It was an incredible opportunity for any artist to be included in that event and what M.I.A. did wasn’t very respectful, in my humble opinion.

Madonna did say that M.I.A. apologized for her actions.

People definitely seem to have strong feelings about Jennifer Lopez, don’t they? I remember her saying some pretty impolitic things back in the 90s, when she first became famous, and then the “Bennifer” debacle sent things into overdrive. Jennifer confessed in an interview that it gets tough for her sometimes.

“It’s hard sometimes, I’m not going to lie. I try to stay away from the media as much as I can. Sometimes. I try not to take it too personally, because I don’t think they do it just to me. But as a human being it feels like that. You feel like you’re the only one being picked on. But the truth is, they pick on everybody. They really don’t discriminate. I try to concentrate on all the great things I have going on in my life.”

That’s a great strategy! And despite her experiences, Jennifer says she wouldn’t stop her children, Emme and Max, from pursuing careers in show business.

“Here’s what I know about doing what I do – and obviously their dad is the same way. If they’re going to do it, there’s nothing I can do to stop them – and I’ll support them. But just like my mom, I’m going to make them go to school and I’m going to let them make that decision when they’re old enough to make that decision.

“I don’t want them to be in the business at a young age. I just don’t think they need that burden, that pressure. They should have a normal life – go to school, play, grow up. They should have a family life, as solid a foundation as I can give them. If they want to go off and be artists or singers or dancers or pilots or architects or anything – then they have my full support. My mom couldn’t stop me from [getting into this industry], I won’t be able to stop them from doing it.”

Makes sense to me! I’ve noticed we aren’t hearing as much about Jaden and Willow Smith these days: maybe Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith are slowing things down a little for their kids after some of the outcry?
