Chris Brown To Read To Children During ‘Family Read Night’ Event
Chris Brown is scheduled to read to children at a school for their annual ‘Family Read Night’. The singer has been invited to read to students at the Sisulu-Walker Charter School in New York for the annual state-wide event held on November 18.
Despite being on probation for the domestic violence conviction the 20-year-old star will participate at the evening which is geared to encourage students to read. Principal Dawn Cejas said:
“I extended an invitation to all celebrities and politicians, and we had an acceptance by him.”
Olubunmi Sonubi, a mother of a pupil at the school, revealed she was prepared to give the star a “second chance”. She told the New York Daily News newspaper:
“He can come even though he was arrested. He’s coming to read to the children. He apologized on TV. Sometimes in real life we make mistakes.”
What do you think? Is it time to give Chris Brown a second chance? Or was he too easily forgiven?
