Heelllooo, Eric- I mean, Alexander Alexander Skarsgard was spotted having what looked like a fun lunch with friends at Joan’s on Third in Los Angeles yesterday.

I am READY for the third season of ‘True Blood.’ It’s set to debut in June. Yet another reason for summer to hurry up and arrive, already! HBO is re-running the second season starting March 21. I may just have to watch, just to satisfy myself- lol.

Are you one of the people saying Kate Gosselin needs to stop appearing on TV, go out and get a regular job, and focus on raising her kids? If you are, then Kate has a message for you:

“It’s not about an obsession with fame,” Kate Gosselin tells People regarding her decision to join Dancing With The Stars. “It’s about doing what provides for my family. Period.”

She adds, “If I was financially able to provide for eight kids (twins Cara and Mady, 9, and sextuplets Aaden, Alexis, Collin, Hannah, Joel and Leah, 5) on my former salary as a nurse, I would do it…but that’s not possible…I cannot rely on the fact that Jon will be there to help support the kids, so I approach it as if I am the sole provider.”

That actually does make sense to me (especially the whole “cannot rely on… Jon” part). What about to you?

These pictures of Kate were taken last night, after her extensions were removed, when she and her ‘Dancing with the Stars’ partner Tony Dovolani went out to dinner. She still has to have the new extensions put in. How do you like her hair short?

Mena Suvari was spotted out doing some shopping yesterday on the trendy Robertson Blvd with her assistant. She looks very crisp in white and black, doesn’t she? Obviously Mena didn’t want to be photographed, but we can still see you, Mena

Mena’s next movie (which is supposed to come out some time this year) is ‘You May Not Kiss the Bride.’ Here’s the plot:

An unassuming pet photographer is thrown into serious action, adventure and romance when he’s forced to marry a Croatian bride and spend his honeymoon at a remote tropical resort where she is kidnapped.

I’m guessing Mena plays the bride while Vinnie Jones is the photographer. Does it sound any good to you? Are you a fan of Mena’s?

Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning are doing the press rounds for their film ‘The Runaways,’ and while they tried to portray the relationship between Joan Jett and Cherie Currie accurately, there were some limitations on filming those scenes for the movie.

“[Dakota] was 15, and I wasn’t allowed to grope her,” Kristen, 19, told Access Hollywood on Wednesday at the press junket for her new rocker film. “I’m actually not kidding, there are major restrictions that I don’t remember [from] when I was younger.

“I don’t want to give anything way. It’s a really passionate, hardcore scene,” she continued. “No, it’s just a kiss. It’s not really a big deal.”

Kristen and Dakota also said they both loved their wardrobes. I bet it was fun to dress up in those 70’s clothes!

Kristen confessed to Jay Leno that although she and Joan had some similarities, it wasn’t too helpful to her acting.

“You always feel the pressure [of portraying a living person accurately],” says Stewart. “It’s, like, if I don’t get every little thing right I’m going to kill myself. And we have very different tics. We’re both, like, ridden with tics, but they’re a completely different set of them.”

Here’s a few pictures from Alicia Key’s concert last night at The Air Canada Center. Naturally, the singer gave her all and I’m sure the crowd responded to the energy.

Recently she was asked where she gets her inspiration:

“I think that no matter where you’re from and no matter what situations you’ve been through, I feel like it’s so important to use your surroundings as your fuel that really ignites you to say there’s more out in this world and I’m not going to accept only what I see,” Keys said. “That’s sometimes the hardest trap.

“Some of the most incredible people I know in my life have been through some of the most tragic situations and they are brilliant and they’re unstoppable and they don’t use it as any type of excuse. They build and they grow and they create some of the most incredible things I’ve ever seen. I think that using it as fuel is the key.”

‘Element’ which was released in December, has already sold over 2 million copies. Success that’s well deserved.

Jessica Simpson will always care about John Mayer. The singer-and-actress – who dated the ‘Gravity’ singer for nine months before splitting in May 2007 – admits she still has feelings for him even after he discussed their sex life in a recent interview, in which he called her “sexual napalm”.

I will always care about him. I think he’s a great person, a great musician, but I was very disappointed by the article.”

Normally you’d think someone you care about would keep those details to himself. It was definitely a compliment, in a way. I don’t really want people to know that about me. I’m like the good girl, then that happened. He gave away my game.”

Jessica also revealed she is still on good terms with another ex-partner, footballer Tony Romo, even though he dumped her on her birthday last year. She told David Letterman:

“Tony is great, still a friend of mine. I still look at his cute butt in the outfit – uniform. What went wrong? You’d have to ask him that. He broke up with me on my birthday. We are still good friends.”

She sounds a little sour still. That was a hard pill to swallow though. Tony could have waited a few more days!!
