Jennifer Aniston set the record straight with InStyle magazine about the ever-lasting “love triangle” stories between ex-husband Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and herself. Jennifer was asked what the press gets wrong about her the most, and this was her answer:

“The triangle with my ex-husband – and that there’s a feud there. It’s constant. It’s a story headline that won’t go away, but it’s a money thing,” says Aniston, adding that people in the media make money off “a story that has nothing to do with reality.”

It seems like the story that just WON’T die! (Of course, Jennifer’s friends like Chelsea Handler don’t help matters.) However, Jennifer said she and Justin Theroux are still “going strong” and she’s in a “joyful and peaceful” place in her life. Good for her!

Angelina Jolie said she would do anything to protect her family, including kill someone to defend them. Is this part of her “bad girl” or “dark side” persona?

“I think I could, yeah. I certainly could defend my family.”

Actually, I think a lot of mothers understand that sentiment . Angelina said she’s also had some scary encounters as UN ambassador while visiting other countries.

“I had moments where I’ve been in a house and people have pounded on the doors and screamed at you and said, ‘We know she’s in there and we want her passport,’ and I’ve had moments recently when I went to Afghanistan, and I’ve got off the plane thinking, this is fine. And then I got there and they said, ‘The people are very angry with you. They are angry that you are a woman and you are American and you are with UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees), so you are the target.’

“And so they gave me a briefing and they said everybody needs to write their blood type down. There’s a guy outside with a bulletproof vest, he put his passport in the vest, because he would be the one to take me out. I wrote a note to Brad in the process and figured if anything happens he’ll find it. I was fine, but then two weeks later they did attack the UN and they killed everybody in the bunker.”

Goodness! It’s amazing she still goes on these trips after these experiences.

Nicole Kidman is in sunny Cali this week.  The actress and mom of two was spotted leaving Joan’s On Third this afternoon.

Nicole was wearing a partially sheer blouse with gray dress pants.  There’s something about the way Nicole dresses that makes me think of Angelina Jolie – except that Angelina almost never wears pants.  It’s just something about her overall style.

Oscar nominee Brad Pitt opened up to The Hollywood Reporter about his past struggle with depression and kicking his marijuana habit – for the most part.  The ‘Moneyball‘ star shared:

“I got really sick of myself at the end of the 1990s: I was hiding out from the celebrity thing; I was smoking way too much dope; I was sitting on the couch and just turning into a doughnut; and I really got irritated with myself. I got to: ‘What’s the point? I know better than this.’

“I used to deal with depression, but I don’t now, not this decade — maybe last decade. But that’s also figuring out who you are. I see it as a great education, as one of the seasons or a semester: ‘This semester I was majoring in depression.’ I was doing the same thing every night and numbing myself to sleep — the same routine: Couldn’t wait to get home and hide out. But that feeling of unease was growing and one night I just said, ‘This is a waste.’”

Brad said after taking a few trips and getting a glimpse at extreme poverty, he decided to give up smoking pot and do something:

“I just quit. I stopped grass then — I mean, pretty much — and decided to get off the couch.  I sought out Bono and sat down with him a few times and got involved in some of the stuff he was doing. But it all started before that. It started with private acts,”

He says that it contributed to the attraction he had to Angelina Jolie:

“That may have been one of the things that brought us together.  Certainly, I’ve met very few people more dedicated than she is. She is always studying issues, daily. She has such compassion for the people she works with.”

Brad is now at peace with his past and his struggles:

“This idea of perpetual happiness is crazy and overrated, because those dark moments fuel you for the next bright moments; each one helps you appreciate the other.  We are all searching for meaning in our lives, love and betterment for ourselves and those around us.”

With the Golden Globes having just occurred and the 2012 Academy Awards  nominees announced, award season is in full swing! How do celebrities relax? For Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, it’s about unwinding with the kids.

“A lot of it, for us, is family. Just breaking away and getting to take the kids to Benihana’s or something.”

And if they’re just hanging out at home?

“iCarly,” says Pitt. “iCarly is big in our house. It is. I know every episode.”

Who would’ve thought two of the biggest movie stars on the planet are keeping up with ‘iCarly’? LOL

I don’t know if I believe this, but OK! magazine is declaring “It’s Offical” that Angelina Jolie is expecting her seventh child.

“She’s almost three months along,” the source confirms to OK!. “It’s not something she wants to officially announce but she’s at a point where she is telling a select group of people.”

Adds an insider: Angelina is really savoring every moment. she’s having a tough time with morning sickness but says it’s all worth it.”

Angelina has said she could get pregnant again, but she also said nothing’s planned, so I’m very skeptical. I won’t believe until either: Brad Pitt or Angelina personally confirm it, or we can see a clear baby bump. There certainly isn’t even a hint of one in this dress from last Sunday!

Angelina Jolie kept her outfit simple and conservative when she attended the American Cinematheque’s Foreign-Language Nominee Series in Hollywood yesterday. She almost looked like she was dressed for a job interview in a corporation!

Except for her hair. Her messy (intentionally, of course) upswept hairstyle keeps Angelina’s look from being too conservative. Are you a fan of it? I know some people who just want to attack your head with a comb when they see messy upswept styles .

While Angelina Jolie won’t know for sure if all her hard work paid off until the Golden Globe Awards this Sunday, the actress recently admitted that making her directorial debut was far from a walk in the park.

The actress dished to fans during a web chat that she actually suffered a breakdown as she filmed her first flick, In the Land of Blood and Honey.

“I had a complete emotional breakdown and Brad found me in the shower crying. I felt this huge responsibility and I felt very small and, who am I to take this on? I had a complete meltdown.”

While Angie’s longtime beau Brad Pitt naturally lent his support, the screen star further divulged that becoming a director wasn’t originally the game plan.

“I didn’t plan to become a director, and I still have trouble saying that I’m a director. I just wanted to tell this story and I ended up by default being the director. It was a pleasure but I wonder if it would be a pleasure with a another cast and crew, and a subject matter that wasn’t so special.”

Though there’s no doubt that Angelina has been touched by the Bosnian War, she admitted that during the actual time of the tragedy, a then 17-year-old Angie wasn’t as interested.

“I knew very little, like most Americans. I was 17 so I wasn’t very focused. I was my very own form of self-destructive, and it was a bad time.”

Fortunately, Angelina turned her life and has ultimately become one of Hollywood’s most generous and informed A-Listers. Good luck this weekend, Ang!

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt added some glamour to the 2012 Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala last night! Angelina seems to like loose, flowing dresses, doesn’t she? She looks gorgeous, and the cane doesn’t dampen Brad’s hotness in the slightest.

Brad was honored for his work in the movies ‘Moneyball’ and ‘Tree of Life.’ Angelina explained to OK! magazine why Brad was on a cane: he injured himself while protecting Vivienne from a fall.

“Everything becomes such a huge thing doesn’t it? Vivi’s okay. She was absolutely fine. He took the fall. It was just to make sure. When Maddox was younger, I took a fall and cracked my elbow because I wanted to make he wasn’t injured.”

Ah, the joys of parenthood . Hopefully Brad will be cane-free soon!

Angelina Jolie is giving back once again.  The actress announced that a portion of the proceeds from the ‘In the Land of Blood and Honey‘ soundtrack will be donated to the SOS Children’s Villages of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Angelina shared in a statement:

“We are happy that a portion of the proceeds from the film’s soundtrack will support SOS Children’s Villages in Bosnia and Herzegovina to provide stable, family-based homes to children, regardless of religion, ethnicity or gender, who do not have their own families to care for them.”

Angelina has a long history of donating to help the various SOS Villages.   In 2009 she and Brad Pitt donated $100,000 to the SOS Children’s Villages USA and in November of 2010, she and Brad gave $150,000 to the USA branch again.
