Jennifer Lopez visited the ‘Today’ show today to talk about ‘American Idol’ and her new reality TV show, ‘Q’Viva: The Chosen.’ It turned into talking about her ex, Marc Anthony.

“Marc and I were friends before we got married. We were friends for years. And we always loved each other and we always worked together. So it wasn’t an unnatural thing for us to continue to work together. And we have children together. So he’s always going to be in my life. It has its difficult moments,” but they are committed to the show.

Then Matt Lauer asked her about her comments when Jennifer said she loved herself enough to walk away from her marriage. Jennifer’s reply?

“Matt! I’m going to kill you right now. Why do you have to bring it up!”

“Can you explain that a little bit more?” he said.

“No! I can’t!” she answered, laughing. “Because everything I wanted to say about the divorce I said in that article, and Marc and I agreed we weren’t going to talk about it publicly again because it really is our personal life. … At the end of the day, like I said, we’re working together, we have a lot of love for each other and we’re human. It’s not the easiest thing in the world but I think we handle it with a lot of grace and a lot of caring and a lot of love.”

Kate Winslet’s marriage to director Sam Mendes may not have worked out, but she hasn’t let her divorce sour her on marriage altogether.

“I still believe in the beauty of committing yourself to another person and, at least, in the idea of marriage as an expression of that commitment. Living with someone will always be a challenge, but you hope to be able to find someone whom you can spend the rest of your days.”

Kate admits it isn’t easy being a single mother but says Sam is certainly helpful.

“It’s not the easiest situation being a single mother, but Sam has been very good in helping me with the kids. They’ve been spending time with both of us and even though it was hard at first, we’re all doing great. I’ve never felt better. I’m very happy with the work I’ve been doing and I’m enjoying my time with my children, who mean the world to me.”

It’s good to hear Kate and Sam truly were able to keep things amicable for the sake of their kids. Good for them!

If what Us Weekly reports is true, then the answer would have to be Fact. “Sources” claim to Us Weekly that Marc Anthony is so upset over Jennifer Lopez’s romance with backup dancer Casper Smart that he wants to change their custody agreement.

It all supposedly started when Marc saw pictures of Casper playing with Max and Emme over Thanksgiving weekend. A sources says Marc “hit the roof. It caused a huge blowup.” So Marc is said to want to retaliate by “going back on his word and saying his wants joint custody.”

“He wants to make Jennifer suffer because she’s having fun with someone new, and he knows this will hurt her on the deepest level.”

Well, someone close to Jennifer say the actress/singer is “ready to smash him if he tries anything…It’s getting vicious.”

Maybe it’s just that I really, really HOPE it’s false that people would use their kids this way, although I know it happens.

Charlie Sheen is enjoying a “modern family vacation” with his ex-wife Denise Richards and just posted some pictures on his website. Click here and here to see the full shots. They look so happy together, right?

The former ‘Two and a Half Men’ actor even went fishing and proudly showed off his catch.  No word on where they are but it looks like Charlie and Denise have move passed their differences.

Charlie tweeted:

“what’s better than a modern family vacation!?! love spending winter break w/ @denise_richards & my kids!”

So, what does Denise have to say about all of this? She tweeted:

“it’s good for our children thats all I care about.”

It’s nice to see that the children are coming first these days. Bitter battles never end well.

Well, Mariah Carey signed on with Jenny Craig after losing her baby weight with them, so why not Jessica Simpson? These singers make plans to lose the baby weight before they’ve even delivered: smart thinking! Jessica reportedly has inked a $3 million deal.

“The deal is in place, and after having her baby, she’ll start with Weight Watchers to lose her baby weight.”

Between this deal and her upcoming wedding to Eric Johnson, Jessica has plenty of motivation to drop the pounds. I hope she takes it easy with herself, though: there’s a lot going on, both emotionally and physically, right after you have a baby, especially with your first one!

I’m not sure what Ben Affleck is trying to prove, but when he and wife Jennifer Garner took Violet and Seraphina to the Children’s Art Studio in LA, Ben recorded the paparazzi while Jennifer got the girls inside.

Maybe Ben needs proof of certain paparazzi behaviors to be able to do anything, like get restraining orders, to keep them further away? I don’t know; it does seem like they should be required to stay a certain distance away, at the very least, especially when children are around! Jennifer looks like she had her hands full, but she managed.

Is there anything about this man that ISN’T sexy?  David Beckham seems to be the total package - good looking, talented, hard working, dedicated father and husband, and overall good-deed-doer.  (not a real word, I know!)

Today the soccer star was photographed as he visited with kids and their families at the Royal Melbourne Children’s Hospital in Australia.  He signed autographs and hung out with the children, hoping to brighten their day just a little.   He certainly brightened the day of that mom in blue – she’s blushing twelve shades of red over a kiss on the cheek!

Talk show host Rosie O’Donnell is headed down the aisle again!  Rosie announced to her audience today that over the Christmas holiday she will be tying the knot with her girlfriend Michelle Rounds, a New York City “headhunter”!

Rosie was previously married to Kelly Carpenter before splitting in 2009.  She then dated Tracy Kachtick-Anders for about a year.

An exciting day for the O’Donnell family, as this is also her son Blake’s 12th birthday today!
