Well, one of Britney Spears’ ex-husbands is being gracious about her engagement to Jason Trawick (that would be Kevin Federline), but remember Jason Alexander? The friend Britney was married to for 55 hours? He’s calling it like he sees it, and it’s not pretty.

“I know everyone wants me to be happy about this, but I am not. I think it’s fake and I think people are afraid to say it.

“If you look at all the pictures between them there is no connection. They look like they are going through the motions.  It seems like a answer to the court thing.

“Sort of a nice way to sew it all up she marries her handler. That way she always has someone controlling her. It’s sort of sad.”

Ouch. Not the nicest things to be saying!

This time, January Jones kept her dog on a leash- LOL. That picture we saw of them at the beach, when her dog was off leash and in hot pursuit of a seagull, must’ve been a scary incident for the pregnant actress!

I’ve been assuming the father of January’s baby isn’t involved, although if he is then he must be a GENIUS at hiding from the paparazzi! Between going through her first pregnancy alone and the increased paparazzi attention January’s faced ever since becoming pregnant, I can’t imagine how stressful this time must be for her. Exciting but stressful, I’m guessing. The not-so-nice comments probably aren’t helping matters.

In her defense, my guess is you run out of things to say after a while. But Mariah Carey almost sounds like she is going through a script.

Ahhh Katie Price. Here she is promoting her new fragrance in Belfast, Ireland. How I’ve missed her and her “outfits.” Every day is like Halloween for this girl. You have to love her, she doesn’t seem to take herself too seriously! Though I must say, compared to book launch events we’ve seen her at in the past, this is positively tame.

But on to a far more serious subject. Katie has decided that she’s stopping her IVF treatments. They’re too hard on her body and she already has her beautiful children.

“I’ve tried it twice, it didn’t work but now I’m going to let my body have a rest.

“It’s quite a struggle and everything on your body. You have to go through quite a lot.”

“Just because I’ve got kids, it doesn’t me I can fall pregnant with someone else and it is quite a traumatic thing, because to do IVF again you have to wait a couple of months for your body to recover from the last attempt.

“It will happen when it’s supposed to happen.”

I have heard from friends that IVF treatments are absolutely grueling. Do you know anyone who’s done it? It has to be so incredibly hard when you’re trying and trying and going through all that effort (not to mention expense) and nothing’s working.

Oh boy! It has just been released that Collin and Alexis Gosselin are now officially being home-schooled after both kids were expelled from a private school in Pennsylvania. Kate Gosselin must be FLIPPING OUT. Why did this happen? According to reports on People.com there was violence and bullying involved. EEK!

However, things might not be as serious as they seem. A source says that the whole situation is heavily exaggerated.

“The situation is being grossly overstated,” the source says. “The kids are going through a challenging time, but Kate doesn’t feel this is something that should be discussed publicly. It is a private matter.”

Hopefully Kate’s camp will come out with an official statement. Imagine having your 6 siblings attending one school while you are educated at home? The kids will grow up having entirely different experiences.

These are tough times, and everybody’s affected! Inside Edition has the exclusive story on how the economy is affecting Heidi Montag’s mother, Darlene Egelhoff. The only work Darlene can find is as a maid after her restaurant with her husband closed.

“[Being recognized while working as a maid has] been very humbling for me and I very much appreciate that experience because I don’t ever want to get full of myself and think I’m too good to do anything.”

Darlene said she doubts Heidi knows what she’s going through because they haven’t spoken in nine months. Goodness! Their falling-out from Darlene’s disapproval of Heidi’s plastic surgery hasn’t ended yet.

Darlene admitted she’s now so desperate to talk to Heidi that she’s started her own blog, Metamorphosis of a Mother, in the hopes that Heidi will read it.You can watch the entire interview on Inside Edition tonight.

‘Gossip Girl’ star Kelly Rutherford was spotted leaving FAO Schwartz toy store with her daughter, Helena, yesterday. I bet that was fun. Expensive, but fun

Kelly, who I think is still in the middle of a bitter divorce, told People she could sympathize with her co-star, Matthew Settle, who announced he was splitting from his wife a few weeks ago.

“He’s going through his own thing, I’m going through my own thing – we kind of just support each other,” she told reporters…

“We both have small children that we really love, so we both just talk about them the whole time.”

In addition to Helena, who’s eight months old, Kelly has son Hermes, who is three. When asked if she and Matthew were dating, she said this:

“[Dating] is not really my focus at the moment. If it happens, great, but I have the two most beautiful little ones, a great job, and it’s really all-consuming.”

Hmmm… you think we’ll see another ‘Gossip Girl’ couple?
