Actor and proud grandfather Jon Voight touched down at LAX solo on Feb. 6. The veteran screen star made his way out of the arrivals gate solo last night, but not without giving a few glances and grins to the cameras.

With the Academy Awards just a few short weeks away, I wonder if Jon has any plans to attend Hollywood’s biggest bash. His famous daughter’s longtime love is nominated for Best Actor, after all!

I’m already a big fan of Jessica Alba’s red carpet looks as well as her casual wear, so it’s no surprise that I love her when she’s in business-looking attire! Doesn’t she look great here in this blazer and fitted black pants?

It’s been an exciting week for KISS rocker Gene Simmons and his wife Shannon Tweed.  Tonight they’re being featured on a special episode of 20/20 that focuses on Hollywood marriages and relationships.  Earlier in the week he announced some exciting new ventures for KISS, including golf courses and Angry Birds!  He shared:

So while the gaming world is waiting for the KISS games that are going to explode, we’re busy taking the brand to places where no band has gone before. So Hello Kitty is one of the biggest brands on planet Earth. Now there’s KISS Hello Kitty, which we’ve already launched in 90 countries. We’re talking with Angry Birds, KISS and Angry Birds, which will become a deal. The KISS and the Archie world have now teamed up and the first issues of KISS Archie comic books hits the world this month. KISS golf courses are starting in Las Vegas right across from the Hard Rock. That opens in January. It’s just endless what we can do, but we only do things when it’s right. Just because there are games, and just because there’s this or that out there, unless the deal is right and unless the content is exciting to our fans, we don’t do it.

KISS has some of the most hardcore fans I’ve ever seen! (KISS Kaskets, anyone?!)  You thought those Justin Bieber fans were dedicated….

I had no idea that Ali Larter and Amy Smart were such great friends, but the two actresses looked absolutely thrilled to see each other as they met up for lunch today.

The ladies dined at Matsuhisa in Beverly Hills and looked like they had a lot to catch up on.

It’s so nice to see that these two make time to enjoy some quality time together even though I’m sure they’re both busy.  Good girlfriends are important – nice to see those friendships can happen even in Hollywood!

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale have dealt with split rumors, but the celebrity mom says they’ve learned to just ignore the tabloid stories.

“It doesn’t matter — you could have a picture that has nothing to do with what’s going on in a rumor and they make it look like it’s part of the rumor,”

Gwen also says that she sees the upside to the paparazzi presence = family photos.

“What’s nice is even though they’re annoying, these guys that follow us around, it’s really nice having all these family photos!”

Gwen also shared that going fishing recently was traumatic for them.  Access Hollywood gave her a photo of a sweet moment that the paparazzi caught during their outing and she shared:

“That makes me so happy to look at that.  [Going fishing] was actually traumatizing.  I don’t think we’ll be doing it again.  It was just — I’d rather go to the grocery store. Sorry. Both me and my husband were like, ‘What are we doing here right now?’”
