Ke$ha left behind the glitz and glitter and went for a more subdued look in the new issue of Glamour magazine.  She also gave a candid (as always) interview on everything from her career to her love of body paint.

On succeeding as a female rock-star:
“I know that I have balls. I have bigger balls than a lot of the men that I meet. I’m just a ballsy motherf*****. I’m not afraid of pushing boundaries. That’s what you have to do to become an icon.”

On her love of body-paint:
“Oh, the body paint stays. It’s my favorite thing to do. Sometimes I have parties at my house in Nashville and it’s clothing-optional, and we just body-paint each other and run around, and I have a giant bed. I’m very much in touch with that side of myself.”

On getting photographed without makeup:
“My makeup is usually left over from the night before. I’m not really worried about the photographs because if I tell my fans not to give a f*** about the haters, then I have to practice what I preach. I embrace the imperfections and celebrate them.”

On her future in the music industry:
“Eventually, I would love to be on my deathbed and looked at as an icon. Right now I’m still at the baby stages of my career. But that is the goal.”

Before she rocked the red carpet in a fab frock at the Safe House premiere, actress Vera Farmiga took a stroll through SoHo with her family on Feb. 7.

The actress, who stars in the flick out Friday, enjoyed a leisurely walk with her hubby Renn Hawkey, along with their children Fynn and Gytta.

Even though the cold winter months aren’t typically ideal for city strolls, it looks like Vera and her brood got lucky and took advantage of yesterday’s warmer-than-average afternoon!

‘Live with Kelly’ host Kelly Ripa covers the March issue of ‘Good Housekeeping,’ and she dished on a variety of topics!

On her husband, Mark Consuelos: ”He’s kind of awesome. I think he makes me better. He makes everything in our lives better.”

On her best qualities as a wife: “I don’t give him a hard time about seeing his friends. Or for doing things independently, like taking a weekend biking trip with his racing friends. He doesn’t need to take me everywhere or do everything with me. I’m very much about us having our own separate time. And I don’t give him a hard time about not doing things around the house, like taking out the trash.”

On her exercise routine: “I work out every day. It’s part of my life. That’s one of the benefits of having kids in school full-time. I’m usually done with work around 11 A.M., so I have time before I pick the kids up from school. I do it more for my insides than my outside, but the outside gets a nice benefit, too. I feel like my mind is a little quieter when I exercise. And I don’t have the best family history heart-wise, so I really try to keep my heart strong.”

On keeping her energy up: “I think exercise has everything to do with it. Before I started exercising, I was exhausted all the time. I remember when Joaquin was about 7 months old, I was carrying him up the stairs, and was completely winded when I got to the top. I thought, I’ve got to figure this out, because I shouldn’t be exhausted like this. My husband encouraged me and said, “If you worked out, you’d feel so much better, and it would quiet your mind down.” Because I’m a worrier. And he was right…”

On having another baby: “That’s the one constant discussion in our house. The kids are always asking, “When are you going to have another baby?” I don’t want to gild the lily. We’ve been so lucky. Our children are healthy and happy. My job is ideal for raising children, but now I have three kids with after-school activities and homework.”

Makes sense to me!

We may have been watching the Super Bowl here in the United States, but over in Germany, they held the 47th Annual Golden Camera Awards (the German equivalent of the Academy Awards, I think).

‘The Avengers’ star Scarlett Johansson and ‘Safe House’ star Denzel Washington both won Golden Camera Awards. Morgan Freeman, meanwhile, was awarded with a trophy for lifetime achievement. Congratulations!

What?! No more pictures of David Beckham in his underwear? I, for one, have enjoyed The Sexiest Man on the Planet’s ad campaign for his male underwear line for H&M, thank you very much . Well, it’s not quite like it sounds. David’s talking about at home (and now Victoria is freaking out- LOL).

“My naked days are over. I definitely walk around the house in my underwear. But not naked. With the boys it’s not a problem because they’re naked all the time but with a little girl now, it is different.”

Okay, I can see that: he’s practicing modestly for Harper’s sake. David’s little girl already has daddy wrapped right around her finger. And while {cough} some of us may be enjoying David’s underwear ad campaign, not everyone is.

“[My sons] say ‘Oh my God Daddy – not again’. They were like, ‘That’s really good, but everyone’s gonna see you in your pants.’”

That’s not always a bad thing, boys .

Drew Barrymore sure has a lot to smile about these days! Not only is her latest flick, Big Miracle, slated to hit theaters this Friday, BUT she’s got a wedding to plan! The actress recently sat down with Ellen DeGeneres and dished about her recent engagement to Will Kopelman, as well as the newest love of her life— a puppy!

Drew on her engagement:

Ellen: “So congratulations on your engagement. Tell us about the young man.”

Drew: “… He’s a good man. He’s a good person and I just feel really luck and really happy and really calm. Which is really a wonderful feeling.”

Ellen: “Yes it is. It’s nice when someone makes you calm.”

Drew: “He has this incredible family. I am as in love with his family as I am with him. Which is an extraordinary sort of gift. You never take that for granted.”

Ellen: “Do you have a date set? Or just kind of take this slow?”

Drew: “We’re sort of figuring it out. This wonderful thing happened and I went on a press tour for this movie which is funny because it didn’t really give me any time to plan and yet a perfect time to ask questions. So the two didn’t really match up. So, I’m like oh gosh. I don’t know yet but we’re going to figure it out…”

Drew on how she met Will:

Ellen: “Where did you meet?”

Drew: “Funny enough we met at a party that neither of us wanted to go to. Goes to show you.”

Ellen: “Go to parties.”

Drew: “Leave the house.”

Drew on her newest addition, an adopted puppy named Olivier:

Ellen: “Let’s talk about the new doggie that you just rescued. Literally, yesterday…”

Drew: “Two days ago.”

Ellen: “How did you find out about (the dog)”

Drew: “Just stop it. Start it right now. (shows photo of the dog)”

Ellen: “That is the cutest thing. How did you find out about the dog?”

Drew: “He looks like a bear. He looks like a tiny little bear. I can’t even handle it. He was a rescue dog. He was found in a box with his brothers and sisters outside of East Valley Shelter. And, this place on Fairfax, “Barks and Bitches”… They help foster the dogs and try to get them loving homes. So I think Ollie hopefully has hit the jackpot.”

Ellen: “Were you looking for a puppy?”

Drew: “I had puppy fever.”

Ellen: “You did? You needed a puppy?”

Drew: “I totally did.”

Two Hollywood heavyweights in the same flick? Count me in! On Jan. 31, Safe House stars Ryan Reynolds and Denzel Washington stepped out for a photocall in Madrid to promote their newest film.

Joined by director Daniel Espinosa, the leading men took their places on the red carpet as they posed for a few pics.

Though Safe House isn’t slated to hit theaters until next week, with Ryan AND Denzel both set to sizzle on the silver screen, I think I’ll be buying my ticket in advance for opening night!

Rising star Elizabeth Olsen says she can always count on the support of her older twin sisters, Mary Kate and Ashley. Elizabeth says their bond has grown even closer now that she lives in New York City, too.

“Mary-Kate and Ashley have celebrated my birthday with me every year since I’ve been in New York, my last four birthdays, and it’s been so special. Or when you have a fight with a boyfriend or a friend, or whatever, they’re here.”

Elizabeth acknowledges her life has always been different because of her famous older sisters.

“I did lead a very charmed life growing up, but I was aware of the things that were abnormal. The only time I flew first-class as a kid was when my sisters did these cruises called ‘Sail With The Stars’. They were the main event.”

Well, being the little sister of Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen has probably given her a lot of insight into being famous, too. Are you looking forward to seeing her in ‘Silent House‘?

With the Golden Globes having just occurred and the 2012 Academy Awards  nominees announced, award season is in full swing! How do celebrities relax? For Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, it’s about unwinding with the kids.

“A lot of it, for us, is family. Just breaking away and getting to take the kids to Benihana’s or something.”

And if they’re just hanging out at home?

“iCarly,” says Pitt. “iCarly is big in our house. It is. I know every episode.”
