‘Journey 2: The Mysterious Island’ star Vanessa Hudgens dropped by ‘The Rachael Ray Show’ and chatted on a wide range of topics! Here are snippets of what was discussed.

Vanessa lived in a homeless shelter for two weeks.

For “Give Me Shelter,” my character ends up as this pregnant, homeless teen shelter that’s actually ran in New Jersey by a woman and I actually went and stayed in the shelter for two weeks before I started filming, so I mean like, I lived there with all the girls, with all the kids, so I think that it’s really interesting because you find so much more about yourself.

On cutting her hair for her role on ‘Give Me Shelter’:

We both [Rosario Dawson] look so messed up in this movie, and he’s like “what happened to my girls?!” Yup, that’s me.  I actually cut my own hair for this movie, I did that to myself, yes I did.

Rosie O’Donnell and Michelle Rounds are doing more than just planning a wedding: they’re trying to get pregnant, too! Rosie shared the news with Dr. Oz when he visited ‘The Rosie O’Donnell Show’ (it’s a two-part show that will air on Friday and Monday).

“She’s trying to get pregnant,” Rosie said.

What exciting news! Hopefully everything will work out. Rosie already has four kids: Parker (16), Chelsea (14), Blake (12), and Vivienne (9).

Jude Law spent some quality time with two of his four children today.  The ‘Sherlock Holmes‘ star was out and about in London with his daughter Iris, 11, and his son Rudy, 9, both from his marriage to Sadie Frost.  Jude took his kids out for a meal and then for a quick stroll in the chilly London weather.

Jude is also dad to Rafferty, 15, (also with ex-wife Sadie Frost) and a daughter Sophia, with model Samantha Burke.

While out on the promotional trail, doing interviews regarding his Oscar-nominated work, Brad Pitt surprised reporters by admitting that he and Angelina Jolie may tie the knot sooner rather than later.

“We’d actually like to, and it seems to mean more and more to our kids.  We made this declaration some time ago that we weren’t going to do it till everyone can. But I don’t think we’ll be able to hold out.”

But Brad wouldn’t share any engagement plans:

“I’m not going to go any further.  [But] it means so much to my kids, and they ask a lot. And it means something to me, too, to make that kind of commitment.”

Do you think they’ll do it up big (Kardashian-style)?  Or go super-low-key and try to pull it off completely under the radar?  I see them having a ceremony with just the kids in some way-off locale.

Kate Winslet’s marriage to director Sam Mendes may not have worked out, but she hasn’t let her divorce sour her on marriage altogether.

“I still believe in the beauty of committing yourself to another person and, at least, in the idea of marriage as an expression of that commitment. Living with someone will always be a challenge, but you hope to be able to find someone whom you can spend the rest of your days.”

Kate admits it isn’t easy being a single mother but says Sam is certainly helpful.

“It’s not the easiest situation being a single mother, but Sam has been very good in helping me with the kids. They’ve been spending time with both of us and even though it was hard at first, we’re all doing great. I’ve never felt better. I’m very happy with the work I’ve been doing and I’m enjoying my time with my children, who mean the world to me.”

It’s good to hear Kate and Sam truly were able to keep things amicable for the sake of their kids. Good for them!

Ashlee Simpson and Vincent Piazza took advantage of the gorgeous weather this afternoon and headed to the park with Bronx.  The celebrity couple were spotted enjoying Tree People Canyon Park.

I love Bronx’ wild curly blonde hair, but it looks like it’s really getting in his eyes now.  Do your kids prefer their hair longer? Or are they wanting cuts regularly?  Bronx definitely inherited his dad’s curly hair and mom’s blonde color!  So cute!

Nicole Richie threw Harlow a ‘Toy-Story’ themed party for her fourth birthday. It is SO much fun to throw parties for little kids (even if it can get pricey)! An insider said:

“Harlow started crying when everyone sang happy birthday and Joel said she was crying tears of joy. Everyone had a blast and Joel and Nicole said it was their best kids party yet.”

A number of celebrity kids attended, including Tobey Maguire’s wife, Jennifer, with their kids, Sara Gilbert, and Rachel Zoe, all with their kids. Thirty-five kids in all attended. Pixar characters Buzz Lightyear, Woody, and Jessie even stopped by. Fun!

Well here’s someone we don’t see a lot of! Tobey Maguire was spotted out with his wife Jennifer Meyer and their kids Ruby and Otis as they headed to a park in Santa Monica.

Looks like there was an impulse purchase of a scooter for little Otis and he had to borrow big sister Ruby’s helmet! How cute is that?!

Tobey has been out of the spotlight the last few years but that will change this year when The Great Gatsby hits the big screen. I’m looking forward to that one!

Actor Mark Wahlberg sat down with GQ to chat about his latest project ‘Contraband‘, and to share what he thinks the ‘Entourage‘ movie will bring to the big screen.

GQ: The Fighter and Contraband were both physically demanding roles. How’s that 40-year-old body of yours holding up?

Mark Wahlberg: I’m not as young as I used to be. I was just putting together Christmas gifts for my kids and my wife bought all these elaborate big trucks, with motors and everything, and I had to put it all together. And I was squatting down for about two hours, three hours. The next day I couldn’t get up.

Would life have been different for you coming up as a star in today’s TMZ culture?

“It is what it is. If you’re smart you’re just gonna be all about the work. But as a young person, you want to be out there, and you’re out going out and going to clubs and doing all that stuff. I’m just glad I survived it. They don’t bother me. I don’t bother them. You just hope that people realize they’re very fortunate to be in that position and not to take that for granted and work hard and stay disciplined. It all comes with the territory. You can’t have your cake and eat it too. I don’t wanna hear nobody complain that they’re getting paid all this money and people won’t leave them alone. It’s part of it. “

Is there any truth to the Entourage movie rumors? Or is that just industry chatter?

“Oh, no, that’s definitely something that we’re actively trying to put together. We’re just waiting for [series creator] Doug [Ellin] to write the script. “

So what can we expect from an Entourage feature-length?

“I think a 90-minute movie of sheer craziness—the guys getting back to just being about the guys, you know? Lose the ladies. Go crazy. Give people what they want.”
