On Tuesday, NYLON Magazine and American Eagle celebrated the magazine’s November issue with a dinner party hosted by cover star and ‘Heart of Dixie’ star Rachel Bilson.

Also in attendance were Ashlee Simpson and her ‘Boardwalk Empire‘ boyfriend Vincent Piazza, 90210 stars Shenae Grimes, Trevor Donovan and Evan Ross, Hart of Dixie co-stars Wilson Bethel and Deborah Craig.

Guests were also among the first to receive American Eagle men’s and women’s holiday tech-sessories, including text-friendly gloves, earbud earmuffs and headphone trapper and beanie hats.

Mila Kunis was spotted shopping up a storm in Beverly Hills today, but the gorgeous actress kept her face hidden under her hat. Mila looks like she had a pretty successful shopping trip and had her hands full with bags from Mulberry and See By Chloé, lucky girl!

GQ Magazine recently named the actress as their ‘Knockout of the Year’ and I must admit, I have to agree with them.

In the December issue, Glamour magazine names its top Women of the Year and they’ve dubbed Jennifer Lopez as THE Women of the Year for 2011.   Jane Fonda interview Jennifer and we have a sneak peek of their chat:

On the possibility of a new relationship out of the public eye:

“I think to give something a chance, to really get to know somebody, you want to do it out of the public eye. You know the media—they want to rush everything.”

On her personal style:

“The things I liked when I was, like, 16 and in the Bronx—jeans, cut-up T-shirts—I still like. But I’ve been exposed to so much now from traveling the world and seeing couture clothes. I used all of that when I created my new line for Kohl’s. My style has come from everything, from where I started to where I am today.”

On what she’s learned about love and relationships:

“I think I’ve finally learned the biggest lesson of all. You’ve got to love yourself first. You’ve got to be OK on your own before you can be OK with somebody else. You’ve got to value yourself and know that you’re worth everything. And until you value yourself enough and love yourself enough to know that, you can’t really have a healthy relationship.”

The issue hits stands November 8th and sometime next week Glamour will release the other top ‘Women of the Year’ winners.

Reese Witherspoon appears on the cover of the October issue of Marie Claire which hits newsstands September 20th. In the interview, the actress opens up divorce, her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe and being a single parent:

“I was hard on myself when I got divorced. And until I got remarried, I don’t think I realized how stressed I was. I feel so much relief. I don’t think I realized how stressed I was being a single parent. It was really, really stressful. It’s not easy on anybody.”

She also commented on husband Jim Toth:

“I got lucky. I did. I got very lucky, and he’s so wonderful with the children. I’m very blessed.”

Zooey Deschanel certainly seems to have the cute, adorable look down pat, doesn’t she? Here she is at the Fox All Star Party in a very pretty, “girly” style dress. Of course, it could be in keeping with her new Fox show, ‘The New Girl,’ which debuts this fall.

Entertainment Weekly seems to agree with me: the magazine reports she had an “adorable” Q&A session at the TCA. The TV critics actually asked her when she knew she was adorable.

“My mom told me when I get compliments to cover my ears. Thank you for saying that,” she said. “I don’t know if I’m adorable. No, really. I’m flustered. I don’t think of myself that way but I will take the compliment.”

Zooey is certainly dressing the part!

Rihanna covers the September issue of Glamour magazine. She talks about her journey from being seen as an abuse victim after Chris Brown attacked her to her “reinvention” with new music and daring fashion choices. Here are some excerpts from her interview.

On the past couple of years:

“My whole life changed a couple years ago. That’s when I decided to let my guard down completely. There’s freedom in honesty. If you just face it today, tomorrow you can move on to something else”.

On liking dominant guys in the bedroom:

“I play a very dominant role in my life, in every aspect of it. And I like to feel like a lady still, at some point. I feel like that’s the time when a guy really gets to be a man, and I get to be a woman. And if I’m being a man in the bedroom too, there’s nothing really in it for me.”

On her attention getting sense of style:

“Getting dressed, I want to pick the most bizarre pair of shorts so I can figure out how to make it look right, or work an outfit that will make people go, “What the hell is she wearing?”

On dealing with how messy life can get:

“I think honesty is the ultimate liberation in life. People want to shy away from the truth and keep sweeping it under the rug. But after a while, you pick up the rug and there’s just way too much dirt, so you might as well just be up front about it.”

With the beach weather finally here after what seemed like a never ending winter, both celebs and public alike are planning to spend their summer days basking in the warm sunshine. While some of us, myself included, tend to neglect the SPF at times, Cosmopolitan magazine has teamed up with a variety of A-listers and media personalities to promote “Safe Sun.”

On Wednesday, June 29 in NYC, Golden Globe winning actress Laura Linney, along with television’s Juju Chang, Sean Avery, Jennifer Stein, and Cosmo’s own head honcho, editor-in-chief Kate White, stepped out in support of the magazine’s Practice Safe Sun Awards.

While those in attendance not only sported flawless fashion choices, what was equally stunning was that each had gorgeous, blemish (albeit burn) free skin, as yet another reminder of not only the importance of SPF but the Awards’ ultimate cause.

Rebecca Romijn and her hubby Jerry O’Connell attended a bash thrown by Vegas magazine last night. Held in honour of the magazine’s 8th Anniversary, the event was presented by Bing Las Vegas and took place at Tropicana’s Club Nikki.

Rebecca is the cover girl for the magazine’s summer issue and wears a Tom Ford grapefruit tulle and georgette dress with Bhernier’s Abraccio ring on the glossy front cover. During the interview, Romijn dishes on everything from motherhood to finding love in Sin CIty.

She said:

“My favorite Vegas story is the one where I met [my husband] Jerry [O'Connell]. We were at the pool at the Hard Rock Hotel. I was at my cabana and he was at a nearby cabana. He did a very good job of coming over and talking to me.”

Runaway Magazine held a launch for the 2011 Summer issue at the Tropicana Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas last night. Holly Madison was there, along with Josh Strickland and Laura Croft.

Holly seems to have become the go-to girl for Vegas events! She’s doing well for herself since leaving the Playboy mansion, isn’t she?

Natalie Portman gave birth to a baby boy today, according to People Magazine.

The actress announced late last year that she was engaged and expecting her first child with her Black Swan co-star and choreographer Benjamin Millepied.

No word on a name of the little boy yet. Congratulations to the happy family!
