A few days ago, word was that Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner had called it quits after two years of dating. First, Brody tweeted:

It really upsets me to read all the FALSE!! stories. Avril has always been there for me and is the closest person to my heart. I love her

Avril retweeted the message and then tweeted herself:

Sounds like these two are still together .

I just can’t use to Jenny Craig’s name change to just “Jenny”. So, bear with me! Here’s Mariah Carey showing off her post-babies body in a new commercial for the Jenny weight loss program.

2012 seems like it will be a lucrative year for celebs endorsing weight loss programs!

Wow.  I am speechless.  Doug Hutchison, 51, (‘Green Mile, ‘Lost’) has married Courtney Alexis Stodden, a 16-year-old aspiring country singer.  According to PopEater, the couple married (obviously with the consent of her parents) last month.  They shared in a joint statement:

“We’re aware that our vast age difference is extremely controversial. But we’re very much in love and want to get the message out there that true love can be ageless.”

“Mr. and Mrs. Hutchison live together happily ensconced in their Hollywood Hills home with their lil’ pups Everette and Tuna!”

Over the weekend, Charlie Sheen told sources that he was dumped via text message by goddess Bree Olson, whose real name is Rachel Oberlin. Friends of the porn star say she moved on around a month ago and has a new boyfriend who is a struggling actress in Los Angeles.

“Her and Charlie obviously weren’t exclusive. Bree has been having her fun outside of Charlie’s mansion for awhile now,” a pal told sources.

“Yeah, I have strong feelings,” she said when asked if she was in love. Now that she has dumped Sheen, we wonder with who.

Reportedly, the goddess plead guilty to charges of DUI as a result of her February arrest in her hometown, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Sources say she is anxious to get back to LA and her new love
Olson said in an interview that she wants to use her fame from dating Sheen to get into mainstream movies.

She is planning to live alone for a while and see where her new relationship goes. This time she is wanting one guy in her life.

And this is why putting kids in the public eye- especially in entertainment- can be so difficult. Youtube sensation (and unfortunately, not in the best way) Rebecca Black admitted she cried over all the “nasty comments” about her song ‘Friday.’

“Those hurtful comments really shocked me,” Black, 13, tells the Daily Beast. “At times, it feels like I’m being cyberbullied.”

What was the worst comment?

‘I hope you cut yourself, and I hope you’ll get an eating disorder so you’ll look pretty,’ ” Black said on Friday’s Good Morning America. “When I first saw all the nasty comments, I did cry … I don’t think I’m the worst singer, but I don’t think I’m the best.”

Talk about backlash! I don’t think Jennifer Aniston knew that her comments about having children without a father present would have such an impact on the media. Yesterday, some quotes were released from media personalities reprimanding the actress. Today we have Bill O’Reilly being particularly upset with Jen.

“She’s throwing a message out to 12-year-olds and 13-year-olds that, ‘Hey you don’t need a guy. You don’t need a dad.’ That is destructive to our society,”

What do you think about what Jen said? Was she just trying to promote her movie? Was she speaking very generally but really talking about her own situation? Or do you think she was trying to put out the message that dads aren’t really needed? I most certainly don’t think the latter is true.

She’s beautiful. She’s rich. She has her own reality show… and she can’t spell. How does that make you feel? Do tweets like this bother you? Or is it not a big deal?

It really comes back to the one question that celebrities fight on a daily basis. Are they role models? Or are they just entertainers?

People look up to Brittny and perhaps this little tweet is sending out a bigger message than originally intended.

Katy Perry wants Rihanna to strip at her bachelorette party. When asked just how much she wants Rihanna to show, the singer replied:

“The whole bit, the whole bit.

“She’s gonna get the message – she’s hot I love her and she’s the coolest chick and I want all of her curves and we have a lot in common.”

Katy also told Chicago’s Kiss FM radio station that Rihanna is actually throwing her bachelorette party.

“That’s the one thing I don’t have to plan and I’m really excited about it.”
