After ringing in the new year with Mark Ballas and a few members of the Kardashian family, Samatha Ronson caught a flight out of Las Vegas the following day and headed straight to South Beach.

The celebrity deejay took a spin at the turn tables on Monday night, where she performed at the Second Annual Orange Drive Miami Beach Music Festival. Playing the hottest mixes for the crowds below, Sam looked like she was in heaven as she got the chance to do what she loves best!

Though Sam deejayed for multiple events last year, I wonder what special plans she has in store for the coming months ahead!

I have to say Mischa Barton is definitely looking good these days! The former OC actress has been enjoying her holidays in Miami and has been seen regularly in and around Miami Beach with an unidentified man.

Today Mischa decided to take a jet ski out for a spin and made sure she was in full hair and makeup to do it! Aside from the red lipstick she was even wearing quite the bit of jewellery for her outing, but she looked like she had a blast!

Mischa flashed the cameras a smile and looked pretty happy that they were there to take pictures. I wonder what the New Year will hold for her – she’s been pretty quiet lately.

Aretha Franklin and her longtime beau William ‘Willie’ Wilkerson are planning a summer wedding!  The Queen of Soul joked about her exciting news:

“We’re looking at June or July for our date and no, I’m not pregnant, LOL!”

Her rep says they’re considering a ceremony in Miami Beach with a private yacht reception, but she’s still deciding on a dress:

“Ms. Franklin is considering Donna Karan, Valentino and the queen of wedding dresses, Vera Wang, to design her gown,”

According to Sean Kingston’s female passenger, the singer was going ‘really fast’ before they crashed into a bridge sending Sean to the hospital with critical injuries.

Cassandra Sanchez, who is Sean’s long-time friend and the Jet Ski passenger, told TMZ that she and other friends arrived at Miami Beach to ride jet skis. She told the website that;

“Both jet skis pulled out of the dock at the same time and we were going so fast we just blasted past them. When we turned a corner and crashed … they were so far behind us they didn’t even see us crash.”

She goes on to say that after the accident;

“[Sean] was coughing up blood, foam and pink stuff” … and when he finally opened his eyes, he kept repeating the words, “I’m hurting. I’m hurting”

Wow, so scary!  Sanchez says that she’s a little sore but otherwise fine, and that Kingston will be in the hospital for the next few weeks. I am so happy that Sean is doing better, but it’s a great reminder to be safe when you’re in the water!

Singer Sean Kingston, who we told you earlier was in a very serious jet-ski accident yesterday, has been stabilized and moved into the intensive care unit, according to a statement released by the singers publicist Joseph Carozza. Carozza said;

“Sean Kingston is now stabilized and has moved from the trauma unit to ICU. Sean’s family thanks everyone for their prayers and support during this time.”

According to PEOPLE a spokesperson for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission said that;

“Sean was heading west from the MacArthur Causeway and Miami Beach Islands when his personal watercraft collided with the bridge, and he and his female passenger ended up in the water,”

I’m very happy to hear that Sean is doing better!

Last night around 6 p.m., Sean Kingston was involved in a jet skiing accident that has turned out to be pretty serious.

TMZ has confirmed the hip-hop star is in critical condition after receiving serious injuries and is currently in a Miami Beach hospital. Alcohol is not believed to have played a role in the crash, however officials are in the middle of investigating the cause.

Kingston‘s rep spoke to TMZ exclusively saying:

“Sean Kingston was in an accident today. No further details are available at the moment. He and his family thank everyone for the well-wishes.”

Both Kingston and his passenger were rescued from the water by an unnamed individual or “good Samaritan”. The Miami Fire Department were the first ones on the scene and transported both Kingston and his female passenger to the Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Kingston’s injuries are apparently so severe that he is being treated in the trauma ward!

How terrible! Our thoughts and prayers are with Sean and his female friend.

Troubled starlet Lindsay Lohan was spotted enjoying a dip in a Miami Beach today. Lohan looked to be enjoying herself until she noticed that her picture was being taken.

I understand when some celebrities get upset with the paparazzi, but not Lindsay. If it weren’t for the paparazzi nobody would care at all about Lindsay so I’m pretty sure she should be thankful that they even want to take her picture.

Lindsay also has what looks like a fake tattoo on her arm that started to wash off after her dip in the water. I wonder if that was part of her photo shoot?

Ciara and her rumored boyfriend and NBA star Amar’e Stoudemire were spotted enjoying the gorgeous Miami Beach in Florida yesterday (May 14). After soaking up the sun, the couple were seen going for a spin on a couple of scooters.

Man, how I wish I had Ciara‘s abs, sheesh! The singer has spoken recently revealed her secret to staying in shape while speaking to Entertainment Tonight saying

“85 percent of it is what you eat, and 15 percent of it is how you work out.”

“Dancing – however you do it, even if it’s in your living room – is a great workout.”

Well, she obviously has the right idea! Ciara quickly returned as one of Maxim’s Hot 100 after a four year absence – impressive!
