Taylor Swift recently said she was happy being single, but it sounds like she’s still dating. When Taylor was auditioning for the film ‘Les Miserables,’ she met ‘My Week with Marilyn’ star Eddie Redmayne and reportedly found him attractive.

They kept in touch and are said to have met up and spent a night together in Taylor’s hotel when she visited London, but Eddie reportedly decided not to pursue a relationship with her because they lived so far apart (she in Nashville and he in London), and Taylor did not get the role in ‘Les Miserables.’

“Taylor loved this image of a British boyfriend. Eddie’s not interested in a long-distance relationship. The elements were against them. It’s a shame.”

I can see the idea of a transcontinental romance being a turn-off. Well, if Taylor wants to be in a relationship, I’m sure she won’t have a problem finding someone .

Exciting! Brad Pitt and George Clooney look like they’re enjoying the experience of being Academy Award nominees. We’re certainly seeing plenty of Brad these days (not that I’m complaining )!

‘The Help’ stars Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer also attended, along with ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’ star Rooney Mara, Glenn Close, perennial favorite Meryl Streep, and Brad’s ‘Moneyball’ co-star Jonah Hill. Now this is an on-screen pairing I never expected to see: Michelle Williams and Seth Rogen will star in the movie ‘Take This Waltz.’ E! News describes the movie as “a funny, poignant matrimony-minded comedy.” Sounds good to me!

Awards season is in full bloom and last night’s People’s Choice Awards have been followed up by tonight’s Critics Choice Awards held at The Palladium in Los Angeles.

The Critics Choice Awards definitely attracted Hollywood’s A List and they all walked the red carpet looking amazing.

George Clooney brought lady love Stacey Keibler who looked fab in her long white gown and George’s buddy Brad Pitt used his cane to manoeuvre the carpet while looking very handsome in his dark suit and white shirt and tie.

I think it might be Charlize Theron though who looks the best!  Charlize is always gorgeous but this black dress is stunning.  Kirsten Dunst also wows in a little black dress.

Tilda Swinton, Emma Stone, Michelle Williams, Evan Rachel Wood and young rising stars Elizabeth Olsen and Elle Fanning also walked the red carpet.

Just because every other celebrity in the universe is Tweeting out their congrats to Beyonce and Jay-Z on the birth of their daughter Blue Ivy, it doesn’t mean that former Destiny’s Child member Michelle Williams is obligated to do so.  Someone called her out on Twitter about the fact that she hadn’t sent any congratulatory Tweets and Michelle responded:

“Let’s get ONE thing straight….I do NOT have to say congrats to someone when they’re NOT on twitter…ESPECIALLY when I talk or email them all the time….or when I’ll be physically present as well.”

“My friendship with people aren’t always for twitter display.  Respect that and get a LIFE!!! Enjoy this FINE day!!! God bless!!!!”

I have to agree with Michelle – Beyonce doesn’t even use a Twitter account, so why would you Tweet out messages to/about her??

Michelle Williams has had a hectic schedule these past few weeks, between promoting her new movie ‘My Week with Marilyn‘ and filming a new movie called ‘Oz: The Great and Powerful.’

When she took a private plane from New York City to Detroit for a 5 am call time on the ‘Oz’ set, her “people” arranged to have the pilot circle in the air for 90 minutes so Michelle could sleep as much as possible. Then she went straight from the jet to the set.

I’m guessing Michelle will take a long rest once ‘My Week with Marilyn’ is out and filming on ‘Oz’ has wrapped!

Honestly some days I just want to go to Los Angeles so I can sit at LAX and watch for celebrities! There never seems to be a shortage of them arriving or leaving, and today is no different!

Michelle Williams was seen in going through security as she gets ready to leave on a flight. I think it’s kind of interesting that she wore her sunglasses through the security line. I know she’s a celebrity but does she really need to wear them in the security line at the airport?

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo were spotted arriving at LAX returning from the 137th Kentucky Derby. These two just seem like such a great couple! I love how they’re so affectionate!

And it looks like things are still going strong for Eva Longoria and Eduardo Cruz! Looks like love is definitely still in the air for these two, as they share a kiss in the security line. It’s nice to see that Eva found someone that makes her so happy!

Michelle Williams admits that she loves to keep little souvenirs from the movies she works on – like her wedding ring from ‘Blue Valentine’.

“It’s nice to keep mementos when you’re back in your home life, where it’s all about cooking and laundry. (The wedding ring) is on the windowsill, in front of where I was the dishes. I like these little things that only I know about.”

She also shared that certain things take her longer than other people – including preparing for films:

“Everything in my life takes more time than it takes other people. A 30-minute recipe for working mums takes me two hours. I have to wake up really early to feel I’m properly awake.

That’s a long way of saying I need time to prepare for a film so I don’t feel like a phoney.”

Have you seen ‘Blue Valentine’ yet?? It looks so intense – I think I need to be in the right mood for it.

Michelle Williams has been raising daughter Matilda, now 5 mostly as a single parent, and found herself discussing how difficult that was with Reese Witherspoon. In an interview with Marie Claire magazine, Williams revealed that Witherspoon shed a little perspective on the situation for her;

“To give credit where credit is due, I was sharing a difficulty I was experiencing with Reese Witherspoon, and she said, ‘Yes, I understand, but think about how much more difficult this would be without the luxury of a reliable, steady income.”

Well that’s the truth! I often wonder how single parents who have to work full time do it – it’s such a hard job! It’s nice to see that they both realize that they are fortunate enough to have the income to help them out! Michelle went on to say that;

“When things are difficult for me as a single parent, I always reflect on how much harder it would be if I didn’t have money—if I couldn’t afford a babysitter to go to yoga class or out to dinner with a girlfriend.”
