When asked what she thought Beyonce and Jay-Z should do regarding Blue Ivy’s first public pictures, Jessica Alba admitted that her advice to the new parents is to sell the first baby pictures. Jessica reportedly received $1.5 million for Honor’s first pictures from OK! magazine.

“For our family, we just wanted to control the experience. We put the money that the picture made into a bank account for Honor to do whatever she wants to do with. It’s her picture, it’s her birth, and we didn’t want it to be like a weird thing when we were walking out of the house for the first time.”

“If there’s a price tag on your child – which is so bizarre – people will go to crazy lengths. We wanted to avoid that hysteria.”

Now that does make sense, I admit. Jessica said the photo shoot was a nice experience.

“We were friends with the photographer. It was just a nice day in the house. We’ll have those beautiful pictures forever. You can give the money to charity and to your baby and that’s it. But the biggest thing is having a healthy baby … I’m sure Beyonce will make the best decision for her family.”

I understand where Jessica’s coming from, but it still gives me a funny feeling (and knowing how private Beyonce and Jay-Z are, I’ll be FLOORED if they do it). Why not just put the pictures up on your Facebook or twitter feed? What do you think?

Rumor has it that we’ve all jumped the gun a bit – Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez are NOT engaged, according to sources of TMZ’s.

Sources tell TMZ that the two are happy and committed, but not ready to head down the aisle just yet. The ring was a gift, but didn’t come with a marriage proposal.

we’re told Halle and Olivier are in a “committed relationship” and marriage “could be in the cards,” but as of last week — when the photo came out — they were not engaged.

I guess we should hang tight for a rep confirmation or denial this time! I’m sure it’ll happen sooner or later for this celebrity couple – they seem like the real deal!

LeAnn Rimes talks quite a bit about how she loves being a ‘bonus mom’ to husband Eddie Cibrian’s two son’s and that she’s in no rush to have her own babies, but looks like she might have changed her mind.

LeAnn and Eddie have been seen enjoying their vacation time in Maui but today LeAnn was spotted holding a 4 month old baby boy of a fellow vacationer.

According to the photo agency LeAnn was overheard saying;

“My husband already has two and I figured that was it but after holding this baby I think I changed my mind”.

Hmmmm, do you think LeAnn is seriously ready for a baby? She doesn’t look that comfortable holding that little boy!

Khloe Kardashian hasn’t even found a home to settle into in Dallas since Lamar’s trade to the Dallas Mavericks, but she’s already lending a hand and helping out the community!

Khloe was photographed attended a charity toy drive for Children’s Medical Center in Dallas.  Fans were literally lined up around the block to get an autograph and have their photo taken with the reality star.  Check out that LINE – CRAZY!!!

The much anticipated movie adaptation of the bestselling book ‘The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo’ premiered in New York City tonight.

Stars Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara walked the red carpet at the Ziegfeld Theatre and posed together on the photo wall. How gorgeous does Rooney Mara look?! I can’t get over the transformation she underwent to portray the role of Lisbeth Salander.

I have a feeling that this movie will be the biggest hit of the holiday season – can’t wait to see it!

Life & Style magazine reports that ‘Hysteria’ star Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard are expecting baby #2, but there hasn’t been any official word from the couple. Here’s what “a source” is saying:

“Over Thanksgiving weekend, Maggie was telling friends that she’s six months pregnant. Her bump is so big! She’s thrilled to be pregnant! She and Peter have wanted another child for a while. They’re very happy that they’ll have another baby in the house soon.”

Maggie’s brother, Jake Gyllenhaal, is said to be excited about getting another niece or nephew, too.

“Maggie’s said that he’s the best uncle and has done a lot of sweet things for her first child.”

Maggie and Peter already have five-year-old daughter Ramona. These pictures of Maggie are from late October, which are the most recent ones I have of her. Compare them to the one of her in the slinky blue dress from last May (the very last one in the thumbnails): do you think Maggie was hiding a baby bump last month?

Maggie’s one of the most private celebs in Hollywood, but eventually we’ll know if this story is true.

LOVE Hillary Scott’s cover for the December issue of REDBOOK! The Lady Antebellum singer looks gorgeous, doesn’t she? The dress, the hair- it all works. Hillary also opened up during her interview. Here are some excerpts:

On her relationship with fiance Chris Tyrell:

Everything is brighter. Everything has a deeper meaning. I’ve found a guy who truly embraces me for who I am and appreciates the things that I don’t necessarily love about myself. He makes me feel more comfortable in my own skin. Like at this photo shoot… I got off the set and walked into my dressing room, and he came in and I felt like I could breathe again. And that’s the thing he helps me with a lot. If I’m stressed, he’ll be like, “Just breathe with me.”

On eating healthy:

I try to make healthy choices, but I know I will never be a size 2, and that’s okay with me. There are definitely days when it gets to me, but I know part of the reason I have this platform is to be a normal-size person in an industry that tells everyone exactly how they should look. Your body is your body. You need to take care of it, you need to eat well, and you need to exercise for.

On future projects:

I’m very involved in charity work in Haiti, and doing mission work there, so that’s a big part of my future. I’m working with MyLifeSpeaks to break ground on an orphanage. It’s going to be a place where children with special needs can have a home with everything they’ll need… My hope is it will foster a sense of family for these kids. Haiti has changed me forever. It reminds me not to be so self-involved.

On band mates Dave and Charles performing at her wedding:

I’m not asking them to sing or play an instrument. I’m not putting anybody I love to work on my wedding day. I even told our band and crew that I know it’s a weekend off that we wouldn’t normally have, so if they want to take a vacation and not come, they’re not going to hurt my feelings.

I was wondering what had happened to the Pippa Middleton pics- suddenly the photo agencies had no new pics of her. Maybe this photoset is nostalgic, or it’s a slow Friday, but here’s Pippa making her way to work.

LOVE that red coat and those boots! Maybe that brilliant coat is one of Pippa’s ways of celebrating the upcoming weekend? Red definitely suits her; as usual, she looks like she could be posing for a photo shoot.

Looks like Mandy Moore is still a daddy’s girl! The actress enjoyed lunch today and a little shopping with her dad Donald at Little Dom’s restaurant.

Mandy is looking great here. In pictures from earlier in the week the photo agency implied that Mandy might have been hiding a baby bump but there is absolutely no bump visible in these pictures at all!

Heidi Klum headed out to the famous Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch this afternoon to do some promotional work for AOL.  The model and fashionista looked fab in her animal print leggings and black boots!

I didn’t even notice the pumpkin top on her head until the third or forth time looking at the photo!  Too funny.  I love that she doesn’t take herself too seriously.
