When asked what she thought Beyonce and Jay-Z should do regarding Blue Ivy’s first public pictures, Jessica Alba admitted that her advice to the new parents is to sell the first baby pictures. Jessica reportedly received $1.5 million for Honor’s first pictures from OK! magazine.

“For our family, we just wanted to control the experience. We put the money that the picture made into a bank account for Honor to do whatever she wants to do with. It’s her picture, it’s her birth, and we didn’t want it to be like a weird thing when we were walking out of the house for the first time.”

“If there’s a price tag on your child – which is so bizarre – people will go to crazy lengths. We wanted to avoid that hysteria.”

Now that does make sense, I admit. Jessica said the photo shoot was a nice experience.

“We were friends with the photographer. It was just a nice day in the house. We’ll have those beautiful pictures forever. You can give the money to charity and to your baby and that’s it. But the biggest thing is having a healthy baby … I’m sure Beyonce will make the best decision for her family.”

I understand where Jessica’s coming from, but it still gives me a funny feeling (and knowing how private Beyonce and Jay-Z are, I’ll be FLOORED if they do it). Why not just put the pictures up on your Facebook or twitter feed? What do you think?

Last night, Rihanna ditched her colorful costumes for more casual threads as she strolled about the streets of SoCal solo.

Dressed in a cozy knit sweater, the “We Found Love” songstress kept her Ray-Bans on as the shutterbugs continued to snap her picture away, even after she entered a building nearby.

After she (literally) conquered the world on her last tour, Rihanna more than deserves some R&R. And now that she’s finally back in LA, maybe she’ll give herself a bit of a break this year.

I’m not sure I believe this Us Weekly story, but here goes: newlyweds Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are said to be on the outs. A source says the couple:

“…are not getting along at all. Kris is not drinking the Kardashian Kool-Aid, and it’s causing major problems.”

So what’s at the root of their problems? With the NBA lock-out, Kris isn’t working, so he’s reportedly partying hard with Kim’s money. Here’s what a family friend had to say:

“They had it a out! She told him he need s to do something productive…He needs to get off his a**, like, yesterday.”

Kim and Kris were described as being “cool” to each other at last night’s ‘Dancing with the Stars’ show, and Kim is said to be having second thoughts.

“On some levels she feels like she made a mistake.”

They did only date for nine months, but I don’t know… it seems like if Kris was doing all this partying, wouldn’t the paparazzi have some shots of that? The Kardashian family can’t step out in public without getting their picture taken! I’m going to say “fiction,” but what do you think?

The caption the photo agency ran with this picture set says it all: “Should Kelly Osbourne call the fashion police on herself.” I think Kelly just went for comfort over appearance for her flight. If she was flying from Munich, Germany to LA, then I don’t blame her: that’s a long flight!
